Workshop

The workshop space is designed for simultaneous work of 8 artists.

There is a summer workshop (for comfortable work in the warm season) and a winter workshop (for work all year round).

(Work tables, rolling table, 3 potter's wheel).


In the warm season there is a plaster modeling workshop.


  • Drying cabinets.

  • Photo studio with backlight and background for shooting your work.

Kilns for firing

We have a choice of Kilns: Anagama wood kiln, electric and gas kilns.


  • Anagama kiln with a maximum firebox height of 1.10 m. Internal volume of 3.0 cubic meters. Firing temperature up to 1350 C.
  • Electric kiln with a volume of 370 and 60 liters. Two electric kilns operate at temperatures up to 1250 C.

Cocoon for firing fire sculptures - 1200 C. Height of sculptures up to 2.50 m (both wood firing and gas). Our specialists will load and program the kilns, if necessary, and help with wood firing.

Residence

During your stay in Gudenky you will live in a guest room, next to the workshops and have access to the studio space at any time, providing a work mode that you set for yourself. Both the guest room and the workshop have heating. They have halls, a common conference room, a kitchen and a dining area where artists can relax and socialize in a beautiful setting.


The living room has beds, space for things and clothes, table and chairs.


  • Bed linen and towels are provided.
  • Common: shower and toilet. Hot and cold water.
  • Equipped kitchen space with induction hobs, refrigerator, baking oven, air grill oven, kettles. Dishes and cutlery are provided.
  • All artists have their places in cabinets and refrigerators.
  • Washing machine.
  • Wi-Fi throughout.
  • There is its own library of books on ceramics and art.

The price includes studio rent, use of all premises and technical assistance.
